The Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation (RAA) collaborates with County Experts in Community Relations<\/b><\/span> to prepare rural communes for tuberculosis screening within a mobile caravan. The activity is implemented progressively at the national level, in 200 communes from counties in the North-West, Centre, South-West Oltenia, and South Muntenia regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project “<\/span>Organizing early detection (screening), diagnosis, and treatment programs for early tuberculosis, including latent tuberculosis<\/b><\/span>” \u2013 funded by the European Social Fund, Operational Program Human Capital 2014-2020, is implemented by the Marius Nasta Institute of Pneumology in partnership with six NGOs, including RAA.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are recruiting <\/span>2 County Experts in Community Relations<\/b><\/span> to prepare communities and mobilize the target group (people from rural areas) for tuberculosis screening in this county. The expert will be contracted part-time, for a determined period, corresponding to the number of communes selected for this county.<\/span><\/p>\n

Required Studies and Experience:<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Higher education<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with local authorities, local or county institutions (advantageous)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Prepare selected communities for screening, ensuring the mobile caravan’s schedule is followed.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Establish and maintain functional relationships with responsible institutions and individuals in selected communities and at the county level.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Recruit local volunteers (e.g., community health workers, health mediators, family doctors, social workers) to help identify and schedule the target group for screening services when the mobile caravan is present.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Alongside local volunteers, distribute messages about tuberculosis and the importance of TB screening during locally organized activities.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Collaborate with regional experts to monitor the screening campaign in each selected community (both office and on-site monitoring).<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Conduct site visits to project implementation locations and prepare relevant activity reports.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information daily, applying measures to protect documents and works.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
