Monica Carpen

Chief Accountant

I am passionate about finance and accounting and have completed a Human Resources Inspector course and a Human Resources Manager course. In 2015 I also participated in a Financial Analysis training to help with new foundation projects, and in 2016 I participated in a Project Management and Financial Planning course organized by the Open Society Foundation.

I am a graduate of the Academy of Economics, specializing in Environmental Economics.

My collaboration with the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation started in 2006, when I joined the team as an accountant. Since then, I have worked in almost all the projects of the foundation, thus having the opportunity to get to know the working style of several funders and to learn something new all the time.
