- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the medical field, specializing in epidemiology or public health, with postgraduate studies in public health and health management.
- Proven experience of over 10 years in the medical field, particularly in epidemiology/public health.

- Over 5 years of experience in epidemic risk coordination at the national level.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Employment Period: Service ProvisionThe Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation (RAA) is recruiting an Independent Consultant for developing regional TB plans within the “Addressing Health System Challenges for TB Control in Romania” program. The program is funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, through the ROU-T-MOH Transition Grant, with the Ministry of Health as the Principal Recipient.
The program is implemented with international technical assistance provided by the World Health Organization, complemented by local technical assistance through national consultant teams contracted by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation, which is a partner of the Ministry of Health and a national sub-recipient of the Grant.
Consultancy Objectives:
Within the ROU-T-MoH Grant 1782, the World Health Organization (WHO) provided technical assistance to develop a new patient-centered TB outpatient care concept, optimize the number of TB beds and human resources at hospitals and pneumoftiziology departments, and improve the TB laboratory network.
