The Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation (RAA) is recruiting 2 Local Experts for Target Group Organization to mobilize communities for TB screening services, including latent tuberculosis.

The project “Early Detection (Screening), Diagnosis, and Treatment Programs for Tuberculosis, including Latent Tuberculosis,” funded by the European Social Fund, Operational Program Human Capital 2014-2020, is implemented by the Marius Nasta Institute of Pneumoftiziology in partnership with six NGOs, including the RAA Foundation.

Required Studies and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of higher education.
• Experience working with local authorities or institutions is an advantage.
• Experience in organizing informational events/communication campaigns is an advantage.
• Knowledge of communication techniques and information dissemination methods.
• Proficiency in Romanian language.
• Solid computer skills.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team and county implementation experts to identify optimal communication channels for the target group at the event.
• Distribute informational/promotional materials during events to educate the target group about TB screening services, including latent TB (posters, flyers, brochures, evaluation tools).
• Inform the community about the event date and invite target group members to meetings in each commune.
• Provide information to event participants to increase screening participation in rural communities using adapted information strategies.
• Verify on-site technical conditions provided by logistics service providers for event organization.
• Register attendance of event participants.
• Provide information about attended events and contribute to creating a photo/video portfolio for project promotion activities.
