Clarifications for Procurement

In response to the clarification requests received, we would like to inform you of the following clarifications/additions to our request for proposal – technical specifications section:

1. Event Scheduling and Locations:

  • Question: Will the events take place over 5 days and in 5 different locations?
  • Clarification: The 5 events will take place on different days. Four events will be held at one location, and one event will be held at a different location.

2. Event Locations:

  • Question: Are these events taking place in Bucharest? If not, please specify the location for each event.
  • Clarification: All events will take place in Bucharest.

3. Interviews and Dialogues:

  • Question: Will there be scenes with people speaking (interviews/dialogues)? If yes, how many people will speak simultaneously?
  • Clarification: Yes, there will be dialogues. We cannot specify exactly how many people will speak simultaneously. There will also be individual interviews with different people.

4. Creative Services:

  • Question: Is it necessary to provide creative services such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, voice-over text, or subtitle text?
  • Clarification: Storyboarding and voice-over text will be done collaboratively. A proposal will be needed, aiming for a final version through collaboration. Subtitle text will be needed in one language only; for the other two, especially Ukrainian, we will provide support.

5. Location Scouting:

  • Question: Is it necessary to allocate a few days for location scouting before drafting the storyboard?
  • Clarification: Only if deemed necessary. One of the two locations is indoor and is a youth center, while the other is yet to be determined.

6. Voice-over Languages:

  • Question: Should the voice-over be done only in Romanian?
  • Clarification: It should be recorded in three languages: Romanian, English, and Ukrainian. For Ukrainian, we will provide support.

7. Video Distribution:

  • Question: Will the videos be distributed only online (social media) or also on television?
  • Clarification: Only online, on the social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok) of the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation.

8. Event Sessions:

  • Question: What exactly happens during the 5 sessions? Are we filming dialogues or also conducting new interviews with a producer?
  • Clarification: The structure of the 5 sessions is as follows: 4 creative workshops with young people on cultural topics and 1 event presenting the results of the 4 creative workshops. From a filming perspective, we aim to capture activities, dialogues, and also conduct interviews.

9. Filming Period:

  • Question: When will the filming take place?
  • Clarification: The filming period is late summer to early autumn. The exact dates of the 5 events are not yet determined.

10. Production Deadline:

  • Question: What is the production deadline?
  • Clarification: The first, shorter video should be completed within 10 days after the final workshop, and the second, longer video should be completed within 15 days after the final event. Together, the two videos will have maximum 10 minutes.
