Interventions and applied methodologies for the social integration of individuals with ASD
Autism is a neurobiological developmental disorder that appears around 18 months, affecting socialization, and communication, and resulting in stereotypical and repetitive behaviors. Early diagnosis and sustained intervention can significantly improve functionality, enabling community, school, and even workplace integration. Without intervention, especially in severe cases, individuals with autism may face lifelong disabilities, isolation, and social exclusion.
