Needs assessment report for tuberculosis patients in Romania

Based on an analysis model called “The Patient Journey Map”, this evaluation follows TB and MDR-TB patients through their journey from “life before diagnosis,” through the experiences of diagnosis, hospitalization, treatment, and finally returning to normal life.

For each stage, the needs of the patients were identified, and contextualized with information about their medical and emotional experiences, highlighting the critical moments in their journey where these needs are most prominent.

This report was developed as part of the project “Together for a TB-Free Romania!” carried out by the Association for the Support of Patients with Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis and the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation.
