“A School for All” campaign in the month of children

We spoke to the teachers in 150 educational institutions and proposed to them a campaign to highlight diversity and inclusion. The campaign was titled A School for All”, and we chose the days around Children’s Day for its offline and online launch.

However, as you may recall, the beginning of June was marked by strikes and protests from education employees. In these challenging and significant times, the Inclusion Ambassadors showed us that school can indeed be for everyone when each individual (student, teacher, administration, and parent) trusts, supports, and helps those around them.

Throughout the campaign, teachers conducted various awareness activities and then posted them on their social channels or the schools’ channels using three hashtags: #diferitidaregali, #haide, and #RAA. As a result, Facebook was filled with examples of inclusion-embracing activities from Brașov, Câmpina, Aluniș, Bacău, Adjud, Mizil, Bârlad, Borca, Bucharest, and many other localities!

We thank them for all their support!

Feedback? Our partners from the Romanian-Finnish High School stated: “Together we can build an equal and better world for all children.” With passion and creativity, the high school students were inspired to create chalk drawings based on the theme “Different, but Together.”

The first graders from “Sfânta Vineri” Primary School in Ploiești enjoyed realizing how wonderfully and excitingly different we all are. They exclaimed, “We are unique but equal! We accept, discover, and befriend!”

The project “All Different, All Equal in Romanian Schools” was carried out by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation from April 2021 to September 2023 through the Active Citizens Fund Romania program, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
