Announcement from Hârșova City Hall: connection of medical offices to public utilities
The Hârșova Town Hall is pleased to inform you that, during the past week, the containers purchased as part of the project “Inclusion and Health in PORT (Hârșova) through Education, Arts, and Sports” – PN 1038, have been connected to the public utilities network.
Starting from the 2022-2023 school year, preschoolers at the “Tic Pitic” Extended Program Kindergarten and students of the “Ioan Cotovu” Theoretical High School in Hârșova will benefit from high-quality medical assistance, free of charge, directly at their respective school premises.
This project continues the local public authority’s efforts to support school units in all their endeavors, improve the quality of education, and enhance medical services in the town of Hârșova for all its citizens.
The project is funded by a grant of €582,361 provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the EEA Grants under the Local Development Program. The project’s objective is to increase the inclusion and social empowerment of Roma individuals in Hârșova through interventions that encourage increased access to quality medical services for children, non-formal activities that reduce absenteeism and school dropout rates, combat ethnic discrimination, and boost the active participation of Roma individuals in community decisions.
