Teachers of the future – trends and preparation methods
Foresight: How do we prepare for the future?
This material explores prospects in education from teachers’ perspectives. Foresight involves forming a participative vision of the future, designing long-term strategies, and supporting leadership processes.
Foresight equips organizations and professionals with tools to understand external changes, ask challenging questions, and explore alternative strategies. It acknowledges uncertainties, allowing for strategic planning and multiple future scenarios.
Implemented by the Romanian Angel Appeal Foundation, APCCR, and F.E.D.R.A., the “Prepared Teachers – Motivated Teachers” project aims to enhance the skills of teachers and support staff in special and mainstream schools to improve education quality and inclusion for children with special educational needs (SEN).
The project emphasized enhancing teaching methods, adapting to children’s developmental levels, and using new technologies to increase inclusion opportunities for SEN children. The training program, accredited by the Ministry of Education, offered 25 transferable professional credits for 100 hours of continuous training.
